What else can I do when visiting Niagara Falls?

Many students who visit Toronto love to make day/weekend trips to Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls includes three waterfalls; located between the Canadian province of Ontario and the American state of New York. From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lies on the border of the US and Canada, and the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls are entirely on the US side.

The falls are amazing and breathtaking, but there is so much more to do in Niagara! Here are some suggestions:

1) CASINO

The two Casinos in Niagara Falls which offer year-round entertainment, provide a large variety of games. More than exciting gaming experiences, the casinos are excellent places for live performances, shopping, dining, and luxury hotels and spa. Test your luck and have a lot of fun!

2) HAUNTED HOUSES & WAX MUSEUM

If you really enjoy getting scared, haunted houses next to the falls are the place you must check out. There are many haunted houses to choose from, offering tons of thrills and fun.

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks is also highly recommended. Famous people’s sophisticated wax figures will make you speechless. Stunned and surprised, explore the museum as much as you want!

3) FIREWORKS & FALLS ILLUMINATION

Most day trip visitors miss the experience of watching the night view of the Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls in the night provides just as an amazing experience as in the daytime, but gives you a new perspective. If plan to stay overnight, Niagara illumination and fireworks are shown after sunset and are guaranteed to be a memorable experience. Have a romantic time watching colourful illuminations and exciting fireworks.

4) NIAGARA ON THE LAKE

Famous for it’s ice wine, the small town of Niagara on the lake is a place I truly love. You can enjoy great Ice wines and explore the wineries where the wine you are drinking is made. If you are not interested in Ice wine, don’t worry. There are many amazing things to do beyond just trying Ice wine. This small town has many beautiful shops and restaurants, making Niagara on the lake a must-visit place!
